Cataract surgery usually leads to good vision for most patients. However, every patient is different, so the way vision looks after surgery can vary. The "Spectrum of Visual Outcomes" is meant to show the range of vision people may experience after surgery. A "low" visual outcome does not mean the surgery failed.
